World Nutella Day: Nutella Puff
I'm a big fan of Nutella and my breakfast will never be complete without a dollop of Nutella on my toast or just on a piece of soft and fluffy homemade bread. All the Nutella lovers out there will definitely agree that Nutella is more than just a "chocolaty hazelnut spread", it is a way of life!
Believe it or not the world celebrated the World Nutella Day on February 5, 2015. It is a special day to celebrate, to get creative with, and most importantly to EAT Nutella!
I believe most of us (especially those located in Asia) will be too busy for the World Nutella Day because all of us (yes...including myself) were busy preparing and baking cookies for the upcoming Chinese Lunar New Year.
Being a big fan of Nutella, I've decided to join the World Nutella Day by making this really easy Nutella Puff with the help of my Amazing AirFryer as Dessert of the Day for my family. This a perfect dessert to end a long day at work and tiring night after whipping up a feast for family's dinner.
Nutella Puff
1 Sheet Puff Pastry (thawed)
1/2 Cup Nutella (no rules for this so you may add according to your palate's preference)
Direction:
- Preheat the AirFryer at 160°C
- Cut the puff pastry sheet into 4 equal squares and set aside 2 of them
- On the remaining 2 square sheets, put dollops of Nutella on it
- Then place one of the squares puff pastry you had set aside on top of the Nutella
- Seal the two squares together by pressing the edges with a fork
- Then place one of the sealed puff pastry on the baking tray and AirBaked for approximately 12-15 minutes or until it turned golden brown.
- Best served warm!
